7. Favorite race: Labor Your Legs 5k in September and the Gulf Coast Half Marathon in November stand out because I had been working toward specific time goals for both of those races since early in the year
8. Other fitness accomplishments: In addition to running, I bike, swim and try to practice yoga regularly. I also started a winter cycle of weight training which I hope will help with performance improvements and injury prevention.

8.  Other fitness accomplishments: Ran my first race 3 days after my 47th birthday with no real training...haven't stopped running since. Really started taking it seriously May of this year.

10. Biggest running/training disappointment: Either the Blueberry Festival when I was slower than my first race or the Steam Whistle 12K when I ran so slow a couple of turtles passed me.

It's in Wisconsin at the world's largest water park!
